One thing about being a stay at home grandad that most parents don't get is a guaranteed day off! The wee one goes to her mother's today and has her tea before returning home, the net result I have a day to myself!
So what does a stay at home grandad do with a day off?
Because I spend 90% of my time in the company of a toddler and women it is hard to make friends that can drop everything on a Tuesday and go for a few pints or the like.
During the week I tend to the house chores so on my day off that is the last thing I want to do.
Be a couch potato for the day-sounds nice but when you consider I work at home it really is the last place you want to be on your day of freedom.
So here I am all excited about my day off but stuck for something to do!!!!
